Lost and Found

So I’ve got the pictures from Day 2 in London on my Facebook page. It’s way too late tonight to write the post for it though, so that will come tomorrow or Monday. Tonight we got caught up on episodes of How I Met Your Mother and The Event. And of course this afternoon was spent loading the pictures. I had to search for 3 of them, they were missing somewhere. Thankfully I found them. I was freaking out that some of my pictures got deleted. That’s been a fear I always have every time I load pictures from my camera to my computer.

Anyway, here’s the link for the album if anyone wants to check it out before the post.

Mon petit champignon

This morning I went with Adeline to take Bastien to school (because when Adeline goes back to work it’ll be part of my job). It’s quite the playground inside for the little kids. Not wheelchair friendly at all, but it sure looks like fun. I started reading Narnia! I only got a couple of pages in when my eyes started to hurt. It wasn’t because of the book. I felt really tired and I laid down to take a nap, but I didn’t sleep. Weird.

Because today Bastien had gym at school, he didn’t have a nap after lunch. So he was really tired this afternoon. We played out side for 30-45 min. and then we went to pick up Sylvain. Bastien wanted to go, so I went too. It was a good thing I did because he fell asleep on the way there, so I stayed with him in the car while Adeline went to get Sylvain. We put Bastien right to bed when we got home. He was only up for about an hour and a half to two hours before going back to bed, but he was so tired!

While Bastien was napping, I was with Sylvain. I decided to walk around with him a bit and we came into my room. I saw my one hat and decided I would put it on him. It was hilarious! I started laughing and had to show Adeline. She then got her camera and started taking pictures of him. I said he looked like a little mushroom (see title ;)). She went and got this little white poncho that was hanging in the kitchen and put it on him. In one picture (because of his white/cream coloured pj’s) he looks like a little girl…because it looks like he’s wearing little tights with a dress under the poncho. It was very cute and very funny. Maybe he could be a mushroom for Carnival….

Darn camera…

Hello all! Today was another great day. We had to go to Louvain-la-Neuve again, and while Adeline was in her appointment, Bastien and I went for a walk in the woods by her Mom’s place. It was only about 32 min, but it was fun. Sometime this year I would like to explore those trails a little more.

Also, my camera is misbehaving…oh, it still works, but the pixels in the screen are dying (or something like that). Basically there’s this black line that keeps getting longer and thicker. It’ s not too big right now, but apparently it’s just going to keep getting worse so I have to email Samsung and see if I can send it somewhere for them to fix. It sucks, but these things happen. At least I brought the receipt with me!

This afternoon during Bastien’s nap Adeline and I watched Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang. It was cute. Not as good as the first, but cute. What I don’t get is why Ewan McGregor played the part of the father who is away at war when he’s only in two scene’s. He did a good job in those two scenes, it just seems a little much to have such a big actor play such a small role. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! Maybe he just really likes Nanny McPhee…who knows.

Pictures from our walk with be forthcoming tomorrow because I want to go to bed.
